Terms of Service

TARAGenius.com (part of UniGenius) is run by Uni Admissions Prep Ltd, trading as UniGenius, which sells every course and licence on this site. Your contract is with Uni Admissions Prep Ltd, trading as UniGenius (company 17325935, registered in England and Wales), registered office 28 Denton Close, Barnet EN5 3AP, United Kingdom. These terms apply to this site and to the UniGenius practice platforms for admissions tests.

The service

UniGenius provides study guides, practice questions, lessons and mock tests for admissions tests. The material is our own work, written against each test's published specification. It is preparation material: using it does not guarantee any particular score or any university or medical school offer, and decisions about your application remain yours.

This site sells 5 products: TARA Pro (£229); TARA January sitting pass (£99); TARA Plus (£299); TARA Pro upgrade for TARA January sitting pass owners (£130); Sixth Form All-Access upgrade for TARA Pro owners (£370). Each has its own price and terms, set out below. TARA Pro: paid digital access

TARA Pro is a one-time purchase. The price is £229 until 31 December 2026 at 23:59 UK time. From then on the price is £379. Stripe Checkout charges the one-time price shown on the page you buy from at the time you pay. Access through 31 January 2028. One payment, no automatic renewal, for one student. That is after the last exam of a student in the youngest year group the course is for, and never before the end of the month a year after purchase. The date shown at checkout is saved with your purchase; we may extend it but never shorten it. There is no subscription or recurring charge. No VAT is charged: the price shown at checkout is what you pay. Access is to online digital content and starts only after payment and recorded consent.

TARA January sitting pass: paid digital access

TARA January sitting pass is a one-time purchase of £99 until 31 December 2026 at 23:59 UK time, and £149 from then on; Stripe Checkout charges the price in force when you pay. It is a pass of its own, not a discount on a course. It opens TARA Pro in full: Every lesson in Critical Thinking, Problem Solving and the Writing Task; The full question bank, every answer explained; Every timed Critical Thinking and Problem Solving mock. Access ends on 28 February 2027, whenever you buy. The date for your purchase is saved with it; we may extend it but never shorten it. There is no subscription or recurring charge, and nothing renews. No VAT is charged: the price shown at checkout is what you pay. Access is to online digital content and starts only after payment and recorded consent. If the pass is refunded, or its payment is disputed, its access closes. A pass does not enter you for any exam.

TARA Plus: paid digital access

TARA Plus is a one-time purchase of £299 until 31 December 2026 at 23:59 UK time, and £449 from then on; Stripe Checkout charges the price in force when you pay. It is a pass of its own, not a discount on a course. It opens TARA Pro in full: TARA Pro: every lesson, question and all 26 timed module papers; Feedback on your UCAS personal statement, every draft, for 12 months; The interview questions your statement invites, with feedback on your typed answers; We never write a word of your statement for you. TARA Pro stays open as long as when bought on its own that day: through 31 January 2028 if you buy today. Everything else the pass opens lasts 12 months: it ends at the end of the day (UK time) 12 months after the day you buy. Bought today, that is 7 November 2027. The date for your purchase is saved with it; we may extend it but never shorten it. There is no subscription or recurring charge, and nothing renews. No VAT is charged: the price shown at checkout is what you pay. Access is to online digital content and starts only after payment and recorded consent. If the pass is refunded, or its payment is disputed, its access closes. A pass does not enter you for any exam.

TARA Pro upgrade: paid digital access

TARA Pro upgrade is a one-time purchase, open only to an account that paid for the TARA January sitting pass through our checkout, while that pass is still running, and has no TARA Pro access that runs past the pass. What you actually paid for the pass (after any discount, less anything refunded or paid back to you) counts toward TARA Pro's price of £229: at £99 paid you add £130, and the amount is shown before you pay. It is credit for money you paid, not a discount, and the pass can be credited once. Paying opens TARA Pro on your account through 31 January 2028 if you buy today: the date TARA Pro gets when bought on its own on the day you buy; we may extend it but never shorten it. There is no subscription or recurring charge. No VAT is charged: the price shown at checkout is what you pay. Access is to online digital content and starts only after payment and recorded consent. If the upgrade is refunded, or its payment is disputed, the access it opened closes and the pass keeps its own end date. If the pass is refunded or disputed, the access the upgrade opened closes too.

Sixth Form All-Access upgrade: paid digital access

Sixth Form All-Access upgrade is a one-time purchase, open only to an account that paid for TARA Pro through our checkout and does not yet have every course in the Sixth Form All-Access. What you actually paid for ESAT Pro, LNAT Pro, TARA Pro or UCAT Pro through our checkout counts toward the Sixth Form All-Access's price of £599: the amount charged after any discount, less anything refunded or paid back to you on it. You pay the rest, which is £370 for TARA Pro bought alone at £229; the amount is shown before you pay. If what you paid is the pack's price or more, the rest is added free and nothing is charged or paid back. It is credit for money you paid, not a discount. Each paid course can be credited once. The upgrade opens each course in the pack on your account:

• A-level Maths Pro: access through 31 October 2028.
• A-level Further Maths Pro: access through 31 October 2028.
• A-level Physics Pro: access through 31 October 2028.
• A-level Chemistry Pro: access through 31 October 2028.
• A-level Biology Pro: access through 31 October 2028.
• A-level Psychology Pro: access through 31 October 2028.
• A-level Economics Pro: access through 31 October 2028.
• A-level Business Pro: access through 31 October 2028.
• A-level Politics Pro: access through 31 October 2028.
• A-level Sociology Pro: access through 31 October 2028.
• A-level Computer Science Pro: access through 31 October 2028.
• ESAT Pro: access through 31 January 2028.
• TARA Pro: access through 31 January 2028.
• LNAT Pro: access through 31 January 2028.
• UCAT Pro: access through 30 November 2027.
• Medicine Interview Pro: access through 31 March 2028.

Each date is the one that course gets when bought on its own on the day of purchase; we may extend it but never shorten it. There is no subscription or recurring charge. No VAT is charged: the price shown at checkout is what you pay. Access is to online digital content and starts only after payment and recorded consent. If the upgrade is refunded, or its payment is disputed, the courses it opened close and TARA Pro stays open under its own purchase. If any purchase that was credited is refunded or disputed, the courses the upgrade opened close too.

Cancellation and immediate access

Paying gives you access to the course straight away. Your statutory 14-day right to cancel (under the Consumer Contracts Regulations) ends when that access begins, so the law gives no cooling-off refund once the course has opened. That does not affect our own, separate refund promise: TARA Plus comes with a full refund for any reason if you ask within 14 days of paying, even after the course has opened. It is set out below.

Under every pay button we show this notice: “By paying you agree to our Terms and get access straight away, which ends your 14-day cancellation right.” By clicking to pay with that notice shown, you agree to these terms, you give your express consent for access to the digital course to start straight away, and you acknowledge that you lose your 14-day right to cancel once access starts. We record that you clicked pay with the notice shown, the notice version and the time, and we confirm it in the email we send when your course opens. If that record cannot be made, we do not grant paid access. Contact support@unigenius.co.uk if you have a question about your rights.

TARA Pro: Score 7.0 or your money back

Before TARA, finish the course (100% course work, 70% right on your latest 100 marked answers and 10 of the 13 timed mocks, with every wrong answer corrected). If either official scored module is below 7.0, send your official result within 30 days of its release and we refund the price you paid.

• The result. 7.0 or higher in both scored modules. This promises a refund, not a place, an offer or any other decision made with the result.
• The course. Reach 100% course work (every lesson and practice set counts), get at least 70% right across your latest 100 marked answers in practice and mocks, sit 10 of the 13 timed mocks in the course (a mock counts once its Critical Thinking and Problem Solving papers are both submitted) and correct every mock question you get wrong. All of it must be done before your sitting. There is no minimum study period: how long you take is up to you.
• Course work. Reach 100% course work. Lessons finished and practice questions answered with genuine working count, each question once, on the first attempt and without help. Genuine official or comparable past papers you sit elsewhere also count, logged on your You page with your mark, dated answer pages and a correction for each wrong answer, for the part of the course they cover. Each past paper counts once, and we may ask to see the evidence when you claim.
• Practice mastery. At least 70% right across your latest 100 marked answers in practice and mocks, at the time of your sitting.
• Timed mocks. Sit all 10 full timed mocks in the course under their clocks and submit them. An accepted past paper logged on your You page counts as one mock. Then write a correction for every question you got wrong in them.
• What does not count. Repeated attempts at the same question, answers given too fast to have been read, guessing at random, help from someone or something else, logging in, browsing, watching and any other unusual activity.
• How we assess it. We assess eligibility from platform records. Your You page shows each condition and what is left, and says “You qualify for the guarantee” once all of it is done.
• Your sitting. After you pay, confirm your exam date on your You page. It locks once set, and the guarantee covers that sitting. Work after it does not count.
• Claiming. Email support@unigenius.co.uk within 30 days of your official result, with your payment reference and your official score report or certificate. We check the course work recorded on your account and refund the price you paid to your original payment method.
• Fixed at purchase. These terms (version guarantee-inputs-2026-10-06-v5) are copied into your purchase when you pay and do not change afterwards.

TARA January sitting pass: the guarantee

The money-back guarantees on full courses are not part of a pass. Your statutory rights are unaffected. If the pass does not work as described, email support@unigenius.co.uk.

TARA Plus: full refund within 14 days

For 14 days after you pay, you can ask for a full refund for any reason, even though access has started and your statutory right to cancel has ended. Email support@unigenius.co.uk within those 14 days with your payment reference. We refund the full price you paid for TARA Plus to your original payment method, usually within 5 to 10 working days, and its access closes. TARA Plus is not sold with a guarantee of any test score, interview result, offer or place. Your statutory rights are unaffected.

TARA Pro upgrade: the guarantee

An upgrade adds no money-back guarantee. Your statutory rights are unaffected. If a course does not work as described, email support@unigenius.co.uk.

Sixth Form All-Access upgrade: the guarantee

An upgrade adds no money-back guarantee. TARA Pro keeps the guarantee frozen into its own purchase. Your statutory rights are unaffected. If a course does not work as described, email support@unigenius.co.uk.

Referrals

Terms version ref-2026-09-25. They apply where your account shows a referral card.

• A paying customer with a referral card can share their link. A friend who signs in and has never ordered from us before gets the friend price shown on the card for their first course. That price replaces any other offer.
• The link counts for 30 days after the friend first opens it, and one link gives at most 5 new friend prices in any 24 hours.
• The reward is the amount shown on your card, which depends on the course. It is a refund to the card you paid with, sent once the friend's order has passed its refund window.
• There is no reward if the friend's order is refunded or disputed, if the friend pays with a card you have used, if the friend is you, or if your own qualifying paid order has been refunded or disputed by the time the reward is due.
• You can earn at most 10 rewards in any 365 days. The friend keeps their price even when no reward is paid.

Accounts

Some features need an account. Keep your sign-in method to yourself and tell us if you believe someone else has used your account. You may close your account at any time by emailing us; we will delete the personal data we hold as described in our privacy policy.

Fair use

The content on UniGenius is licensed to you for your own study. Do not republish, resell or scrape it, and do not attempt to disrupt the service or access other people's data. We may suspend accounts that do.

No affiliation

UniGenius is independent. We are not affiliated with, or endorsed by, any school, university, local authority, admissions service, regulator or test provider. Test names are used to describe what our material prepares you for; always check dates, rules and requirements with the official test provider.

Liability

We work hard to keep the material accurate, and we correct errors when they are reported. The service is provided as-is: to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from your use of it, and nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes

We may update these terms as the service develops. The current version is always at this address, and continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
